The Metropolitan life Insurance Tower was completed in 1909. The architect was Harvey Wiley Corbett. It was the tallest building for a long time at 700 feet and (213 meters) it had 50 floors. The designer used the ecole des beaux -style it was also noticed that at one point they used Marble and then Limestone later on. The buildings color is a mix between gray, green, white, and Gold. They had a clock in the center of the building which is were the Green comes in. I like the top because the gold color stands out on the building. The colors are nice because when you put them together on the building it looks better and it stands out more.
